my experiences representing gitmo prisoners

Last year the American Bar Association's Litigation Magazine asked if I would write an article about my experiences representing two men at Guantanamo. Last week it was published. Click on the title to read what I had to say.... this is reprinted by permission from the ABA.
Thanks again to PEGC for taking the pdf and providing a link to the article.

As a Muslim, I cannot explain in words how much I appreciate the work of courageous individuals such as you for standing up against those bullies / war criminals in our government.

Has the treatment of the Detainee and the legal process has improved since Obama took office ?

I have been meaning to do a blog on current conditions. The conditions are still bad but not nearly as bleak as they were prior to January of this year. I will try to write something up in the coming days.
Also GOTTALAFF...please email me when you do posts on Gitmo and I will provide a link. I could not find an email address on your webpage.

Last night I heard the Deputy Commander of Gtmo describing the "lawful" conditions at the base. The most troubling was that the inmates receive medical care. But I actually read Ron Suskind's book, The Way of the World, and know that is ********.

How is your very ill client? I did not check the Suskind's book as I am furious at the sugar coating of this atrocity.
