Ron Suskind's "The Way of the World"
If you have not read Ron's book then you do not have the whole story about what I have been doing to try to get my clients out ofGuantanamo. Ron kept up with my activities and even followed me around on occasion to get the full story... then he weaved my story in with the stories of other individuals who are concerned with the direction of the United States. I recommend the book to all of you out there who also care about the direction that the US has gone these past eight years and want to work to change things.

Odd... of all of the adjectives I might have attached to Michael Moore, "naiive" was not one of them. Until now, of course. After over ten months of the President's proving that he is as feckless and conventional a politician as any of the rest of them, I think it's about time we all just stopped pretending otherwise. (While possibly a "lesser evil" than the alternative party, to be quite frank, the President hasn't even proven that as far as I'm concerned.)

When we start believing what is happening, and not what we wish were happening, we can possibly change things. Going around eternally playing the Democrat -Republican-Democrat game produces nothing but eternal imperial war.
