Al-Ghizzawi is a free man....

I am just back from the beautiful country of Georgia where Al-Ghizzawi, after 8 years of wrongful imprisonment at Guantanamo, is now a free man. On behalf of Mr. Al-Ghizzawi I want to thank the people of Georgia for their kindness and compassion in allowing him to settle in their country. The talking dog has more here and Andy Worthington has this to say.

Bless you! And, although it's Good Friday, I'll say an Alleluia!

Do you happen to know how things stand with Mr. Al-Ghizzawi's wife? Did she ask for a divorce?

Blessings and peace.

Thank you, Candace. You have paid the price and done the work many of us would like to be able to do. I don't know how to say "thank you" better or more strongly, except to continue to protest.

Ms. Gorman,
I am so thankful for your work. I feel I owe you some kind of spiritual or civic debt for your determined effort to correct an evil mistake that I was complicit in simply because I am an American. While I felt overwhelmed and heartsick, you faced the sickening injustices head on. Thank you!

With all my heart, I wish Mr. Al-Ghizzawi peace, health, and an abundance of blessings.

Ms. Gorman,
I just heard your interview with Dick Gordon on the 'The Story'. I am still stunned and devastated by the erroneous policies of some selfish and self centered politicians, and the destruction of lives they have created. Bless you for living up to the foundation of why our beautiful nation was created. And why so many have and continue to give up their lives for.
I pray that Mr. Al-Ghizzawi and his family, and all others who have been so greatly wronged by the actions of the 'few' who are responsible for Guantamo;can somehow understand that so many of the amazing people that make up this blessed country of ours, were and continue to be outraged by what was done to him and others who were known to be innocent.
I heard you say on the show that you are questioning continuing as a lawyer. I pray that you will. We need you and others like you to follow the letter of our laws as they were written... to protect the innocent until proven guilty.
With all my respect to you and Mr. Al-Ghizzawi and his family.
